About

I am Eva Rider M.A., MFT in private practice in Santa Cruz since 1997. I earned my B.A. in history from McGill University in Montreal and an M.A. in Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in California where I taught classes in Jungian Theory, Dreamwork, Myth and Alchemy to graduate students.

I trained extensively with Jungian Analyst and author Marion Woodman, voice coach, Ann Skinner and movement specialist, Mary Hamilton since 1999 and completed The Marion Woodman BodySoul Rhythms® Leadership Training in 2007. I currently teach BodySoul Community Workshops incorporating my training as a hypnotherapist and SoulCollage® facilitator.

Besides my individual psychotherapy practice, I teach groups and classes in the art of Reclaiming Soul through dreams, astrology, creative process,  BodySoul synthesis. I specialize in Archetypal and Jungian Depth psychology and bring 30 years of Metaphysical study to my work. My passion is a study of Jung’s alchemical psychology and its connection to the Tree of Life incorporating BodySoul synthesis. My undergraduate work in history and humanities, my graduate work in psychology is enhanced  by a  lifelong fascination with the transformational nature of consciousness.
